ScaleUpSales will host Sales Kenes again on September 4, 2023, at Eretz Yisrael Museum Chaim Levanon 2 in Tel Aviv.
In its 5th year, Sales Kenes remains the largest sales conference for sales professionals in Israel, where the country’s premier sales leaders come together to share their best tactics and strategies to tackle the end-of-year sales challenges of companies in various industries.
The one-day conference will highlight leadership insights about the latest sales techniques and impart expert knowledge to produce more sales despite budget cuts, hiring freezes, and shrinking markets.
Founded in 2018, the sales event stemmed from the realization that many CEOs and founders of startups to midsize companies in Israel struggled with producing sales—and the common problem among them was that their sales teams needed more training.
With that, Sales Kenes emerged, intending to help companies have better and more efficient Sales teams with the right skills and techniques to create and explore new sales opportunities and close more sales.
“This conference is not for anyone who thinks they are the best and have nothing to learn. It’s for the sales professionals and teams who think they can get better, the person who is open to learning how to sell better and meet it blow through their goals,” said Eli Mandelbaum, Managing Director of PluggedIn BD and Producer of Sales Kenes.
Sales Kenes is organized and produced by three experts in sales and growth: Michael Bassin & Dan Schwarts (Co-founders of ScaleUpSales), and Eli Mandelbaum. The three experts envisioned the sales event as the catalyst for developing Israel from a “startup nation” to a “scale-up nation.”
In every Sales Kenes event, industry leaders will discuss various topics, including client relationship management, better understanding customers’ needs, enhancing communication with clients, providing effective feedback, maximizing upsells, and improving client interactions.
Last year’s Sales Kenes was an incredible success with over 350 attendees, 200 companies, and 15 speakers. The speakers included David Siegel, CEO of Meetup; Nir Goldstein, VP of Sales at Monday.com; and Eldad Postan-Koren, Co-founder and CEO at Winn.ai.
“I was blown away by the depth of knowledge and expertise at last year’s Sales Kenes. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this year,” said Talia Schmidt, Country Marketing Lead at Cisco.
The discussions covered various subjects, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Sales, Consultative Selling, Email Marketing, and Capitalizing Brand Trust.
One striking insight from the event focused on the rise of AI technologies—a development that most companies are still trying to integrate seamlessly into their business operations. However, despite the uncertainty brought upon by AI, you just have to get on with it and learn along the way.
As Elisha Levy of AKAMAI explained, “Sometimes in order to win, you have to have an open mind. With the rise of AI technologies, be an early adapter. If you’re not an early adapter then you’re just gonna fall behind.”
And Nir Goldstein of Monday.com, expounding on why companies should focus more on efficiency instead of scaling sales teams, defined the ultimate vision that made Monday.com the product it is today—a company with a $2.7 billion valuation and named the best management tool of 2020 for productivity at Webby Awards.
This year, Sales Kenes will bring back the best of what was offered in 2022 and more.
